Boldly Boundless

We're here to inspire the adventurer in you, so come wander with us on our crazy cross-country journey!

The Ultimate Road Trip

Hi there! We’re Steve and Diana, an adventurous couple from Florida driven by a wild vision. When you combine our love for nature with our passion for preserving our beautiful planet then you get the super crazy idea we came up with… So what are you saying no to that if you started saying yes, could transform your life? Often we say no to creativity, wonder and joy and say yes to comfort, convenience and to the status quo. So stop that! Steve and I made the choice to take a risk and deviate from the norm. We chose to be bold and start saying yes to courage, adventure, and trust. We chose to start saying no to existing and yes to living. It started small…and then it snowballed quickly.  Every couple has places they imagine traveling to, a list of destinations that seem far-reaching and nearly impossible. But what’s a life worth living if you’re not going to experience all the life that our planet has to offer? One fateful day, we came across an article (read it here) that gave us the spark of inspiration we needed to start planning our great adventure. From sea to shining sea, these Floridians are taking the ultimate road trip to all 50 States. An adventure so grand it will take us nearly a year to plan out and three months to complete. We’re committed.

At the forefront of this trip is our continued effort on eco-conscious living. Sustainability is a shared passion of ours, something we both strive to increase.

Diana, who is currently finishing her undergraduate degree before heading off to law school, loves to get involved in community outreach and student government as a mechanism for promoting sustainable living.

Steve, who often communicates better with computers than people, is interested in how improving technology could lead to innovative breakthroughs in renewable energy and sustainable living.

Our Road Trip Vision

We have a vision for a world of love, connection, abundance and freedom. In living out our vision, we’re hitting the road and off to discover the blissful scenery all around the country. We’re stopping in each state and seeing everything from dozens of National Parks and state parks to the smaller, hidden scenic gems. Mind you neither of us are experienced hikers (though Steve is an official Eagle Scout) and we’re not entirely sure exactly how we’re doing this crazy cross-country journey yet…. but hey its all a part of the adventure right? A power of intention! In sharing our vision, we created this site! You can follow along right here from our days of planning to our official launch date and then wonder with us on our great adventure! Our intention is to inspire the visionary in you because, why, not you? Be Bold, say yes. #BoldlyBoundless

Days 13 + 14 – Saguaro National Park, Arizona

Saguaro National Park is a unique one in that it is comprised of two distinct halves separated by about 30 miles and the entire city of Tucson. After driving almost 500 miles we set up camp and made what would turn out to be a great decision in leaving the tent canopy off so we could sleep under the stars.

Day 12 – Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico

Carlsbad National Park does have a few trails that cross the hills and mountains above ground, however, the biggest attractions lie hidden beneath. In this case out of sight was definitely not out of mind, we walked straight from the Visitor’s Center entrance to the line for cave tour tickets.

Day 11 – Guadalupe National Park, Texas

The drive from Big Bend National Park to Guadalupe National Park seemed like a long one. However, at just under 300 miles it was less about the continuous time spent driving than it was about the vast nothingness in which we were driving through.
